The Bird Brigade's Story
On 13th September, we are taking part in the Kilt Walk to raise vital funds for House of Hope, Scotland's first bespoke breast cancer wellness centre. We are all incredibly excited to get involved and take on the challenge of walking over 11 miles in support of such an amazing cause. Every step we take is for those who have been supported by House of Hope, and for those who will need them in the future.
One of the reasons this walk means so much to us is Emma’s story:
The House of Hope has been an absolute lifeline for me during my breast cancer diagnosis.
When everything felt overwhelming, House of Hope was there for me, offering support, understanding and care. It’s a place where you’re seen as a whole person, not just a diagnosis. The kindness and sense of community I found there helped carry me through this journey.
By supporting our Kilt Walk, you’re helping House of Hope continue to provide vital services to others facing breast cancer, offering comfort, strength, and hope when it’s needed most. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference.
Thank you so much for supporting me and this incredible centre.
